http://tinyurl.com/4zhbgltWell George and I were there with a few friends on Sunday afternoon. A handsome couple from Goa accompanied us. The beautiful girl flies for Jet Airways.

We reached at 1.40 PM. Left at 4.30 PM.

We chatted lazily. The six of us stretched out. Didn't feel cramped. Most of us ate heartily - sushi, sashimi, wasabi, tempura, teppenyaki, sui mui, dumplings, steamed fish, ice creams and cake. There was no sense of urgency. We were relaxed. Well fed. Happy. Smiling. Laughing loudly. Reminiscing.

The only non lazy part was the number of trips that one had to make to the food counters. The food was such. It kept calling you. Thanks to me being the eldest in the group, I did have the advantage of K playing the dutiful guy and getting replenishment for me. Though there was no stopping me during dessert time.

The service was quite helpful and the folks would get our teppenyaki and dumpling orders to the table. We skipped the main courses.

The three dishes which were stand out according to me were:

Teppenyaki prawns - grilled just right, juicy as your neighbourhood aunty's gossip, delectably flavoured with chopped bird chillies
Chicken dumplings/ momos - steamed and yet surprisingly tasty
Prawn Tempura - abundant, fresh, replenished continuously, crisp batter, shy, nubile and beautiful prawns inside.

Global Fusion
http://tinyurl.com/4vkhn8dIn keeping with the international mood, we headed to Global Fusion, a new eatery in a lane that’s fast becoming a go-to destination for hip suburbanites.

As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I felt a sense of calm descend upon me. It’s probably the high-ceilinged Zen-like atmosphere achieved with silent water fountains, comfortable lighting and Feng Shui fauna statuettes dotting the place that did the trick. The tables were all arranged at arms length from each other — none of that neighbour-checking-what’s-on-your-plate over here.

And the food? The spread included enough Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Burmese options to make my head spin. My chopsticks did a happy click at both the sushi and dim sum counters. The sushi was divine and the sashimi succulent; all expertly made fresh every few minutes and served appetisingly. There was a large variety of dim sum, each one more interesting than the last, from delicately sweet, steamed Strawberry Pao to the translucent and crunchy Crystal Sui Mai. Prawn Tempura that would give Kentucky Fried Chicken a run for its money and Cheese-baked oysters that put a Cheshire Cat grin on my face.

I somehow managed to tuck into a main course of excellent green Thai curry with fluffy, steamed rice. By the time I only had room for a minuscule glass of mango fool and knocked it back with some crunchy discs strangely called Almond Tools.

I can’t wait to go back for more. I’m keeping my chopsticks crossed that it’ll be soon!

http://tinyurl.com/6xhxqhzYou can choose from multiple soups, sashimi’s, dumplings, tempura, Fritters, raw papaya salad and Spring Rolls. Made to order Stir fried starters, sticky rice and the star at every sitting, Sushi.  Believe me when I say am just scratching the surface here when it comes to variety. I also loved the fact that it was extremely vegetarian friendly with every dish including sushi having equal number of vegetarian items and variants. While most of the items are self service, some of them will be made fresh and brought to your table. The main course served in the adjoining section is another delectable affair with Thai curry, rice, noodles and other meat, sea food items. Though definitely at above average levels I would still prefer to stuff myself on the starters and jump straight to desserts.

The Dessert corner is a variety of unlimited cakes and pastries with believe it or not an unlimited Baskin Robbins Ice Cream corner. Forget those miniature tasting spoons, here you can indulge your taste buds with unlimited cups of every flavor but only if you still have space left in your stomach that is. Though the dessert counter lacks in variety the unlimited Ice Cream more than makes up for it.

http://tinyurl.com/5vkqcsqIn my mind what really works for the restaurant is that they take away the question of money right at the beginning. With the still experimenting and testing Indian crowd there are times when ordering from a menu makes one wonder if what one is ordering is going to be good or not, hope it doesn’t get wasted, etc. This turns off most of the people from venturing out and trying new stuff especially at specialty restaurants and they end up ordering the tried and tested stuff. Since money is taken out of the equation right at offset, you can try every exotic item as many times as you like and if not to your liking move on to the next one. Consequently, it was quite entertaining to see my companion experiment with wasabi and its surprising bite. Once you realize the exclusivity of dishes that the restaurant is offering and think about what they would cost had you ordered them individually the buffet price suddenly seems very reasonable or for that matter even cheap. Whatever it is worth, it is definitely value for money.

It’s very rare that an establishment blows you away with what it has to offer and everyone I have talked to who has been there shares the same opinion. I definitely would be visiting them again and I hope that this review makes you do that at least once.

Buffets at Global Fusion
http://tinyurl.com/5roxdeyWhat you see - Located in Link Square Mall in Bandra, Mumbai, Global Fusion is a buffet only restaurant. A tiny elevator takes you to the third floor where the reservation desk has a smiling hostess and a board with buffet prices. The family resto bar has high roofs, water channels with colorful fishes, a very well done bar in bright red and a huge seating area. Guests can choose to seat either on high sofas, comfortable chairs or a gold pagoda.

What you get - The question here is where do you start since there are almost 200 dishes on display. Unlimited mineral water, iced tea and soft drinks are included in the buffet prices but alcoholic drinks are charged separately. Guests get to sample Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Indonesian, Malaysian, Cantonese and Japanese cuisine along with Sushi. Live kitchens are interspersed with various counters for soup and starters, sushi, teppanyaki and tempura.

The spread is well balanced with equal number of vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. We headed to the soup and starter counter and settled for Hot and sour chicken soup that was spicy and sour in taste. For the starters, we could select from Dumplings, Dim sums, Tempura, Fritters, Salad and Spring rolls. We tried the Chicken and prawn dumplings and found them
http://tinyurl.com/5rmzwokwell done and tasty. Prawn fritters were crisp and mildy flavored with fresh herbs. The sushi counter had almost twenty kinds of Sushi and Sashimi. The main course served in the adjoining section had Thai curry, Steamed rice, Chinese hakka noodles, Vegetables in oyster sauce, sea food items like Pepper crab and Fish in hot and tangy sauce. The dessert corner had a variety of cakes and pastries like Chocolate mud cake, Blueberry cheese cake, Flavored jelly and Baskin Robbins Ice Cream corner.

Our verdict - Global Fusion is a value for money buffet restaurant which takes you on an unforgettable culinary journey. Guests should try small portions to decide what they like from the spread and then enjoy second helpings. Most of the items are self service but a few are freshly made and bought to your table. Buffet prices vary from around Rs. 650 to less than Rs. 1,000 based on whether it is lunch or dinner on weekdays or weekends. Enjoy a quiet romantic evening or celebrate birthdays or anniversary with friends and loved ones. Either way try the restaurant at least once. Valet parking facility is provided.

'After being in relationship with Wilson for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that don't believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I meant a spell caster called Dr Zuma zuk and I email him, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email: spiritualherbalisthealing@gmail.com or call him +2349055637784 you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or anything.
